Drifting History
The Toyota Chaser was an excellent drift car. With its mid powered 1JZ-GTE from the X80-X100 gen and front engine rear wheel drive, it was a great car. In Japan, the car is very popular. Most sell for around 10,000 USD and are already modified with a welded diff. Many amatuers use this car as their first drift car. However, this does not stop the professionals from using it either. A driver by the name of Andrew Gray uses a JZX-100 Tourer V in the Formula Drift competition that is held in the United States
